Catching up... not happening in full force as my mind envisions since I'm either holding a baby, matchbox cars, or trying to type to no avail with one hand... so here goes a little bit at a time as I can.
Miss Sadie Jane is 6 weeks! Here's my attempt to shoot some video from my lap - not too much action but a small coo and a partial sneeze at the end - but she's awake and not crying!
Happy Fourth of July! We headed south of Old Town to meet up with our friends the Bartons for a Mayberry-esque Fourth celebration... decorated bikes, fire trucks leading the parade, and kids decked out in red, white and blue. Luke fit in so long as he was holding his American flag... Sadie slept through the celebration!
Luke and Gary checking out the parade!
We skipped the fireworks for fear of a full on Luke meltdown - the loud booms are not quite his style yet. So Dan and I (and Sadie) settled for watching the fireworks on the big screen of NYC - phenomenal. Dan and I also enjoyed some fireworks of our own with dualing tears this evening - another reason I'm learning why God created wine.
P.S. A major shout out to welcome sweet Eliza Grace Morgan! We are so happy you are here, little one.
