When you say Wisconsin... you've said it all!

Ah, Wisconsin. How we miss you, and all the wonderful creatures that call you home - family, friends, mailboxes. (Luke's most poignant observation during our stay... "Mom, what are those things with sticks in the ground near the driveways?" along with, "Mom, why are there no mini coopers in Wisconsin, they are ALL OVER Virginia!")

Since I am totally disorganized these days, this is the best I can do - a total disarray of random shots. But perhaps that is most fitting of our stay as we were vagabonds for four weeks!

Capt. Grandpa Jimbo with her highness Miss Sadie.

Sadie and her beloved Aunt Lis.

Everyone's favorite uncle, crazy Dr. Uncle. Josh.

Grandpa with his two littlest Granddaughters, oh boy did they fight over him. Good thing he has two arms!

Sadie posing in one of her few moments sitting still.

Captain Luke during our stop in Indiana visiting family.

Luke and Daddy wave-running.

Does she look hot or what?! 105 degrees in Indiana. That face comes with a huge cackle and grunt.

Where should we go? Russia? Get us out of this heat.

Sades and sweet Aunt Lis.

Cooled off in Wisconsin, a bit.

The three amigos.

The Captain continues his voyage.

Daddy and Sadie sailing away.

Grandma and Luke observing the slides into the water along the ride.

Big Girl after a visiting to Uncle Matt's Hunger Task Force farm and fish hatchery.

He looks so big here. Most shots this summer include a tongue sticking out. Standard Luke pose.

Uncle Matt reading a favorite book, Pete the Cat, to Augie and Sadie.

Sadie loves cars and monster trucks.

A typical Sadie late night show.

My toes! On Dan and my little side-trip to Nemacolon! Along with a hundred of our closest political friends, sigh.

Great Wisconsin playgrounds.

A visit to the Milwaukee Children's Museum with our favorite Miss Ellen.

And a stop at the Madison zoo with Uncle Josh, Aunt Lis, and Augie.

Which came first?

Nice ride.

Sadie is famous for her pointing. GIRAFFE!

The gang... Aunt Lis and Augie must be with the penguins.

Sadie and her gal pal sweet Stella Marie dancing on stage at the awesome Delafield Children's Playspace.

HI!

A trip to Wisconsin is never complete without a visit across the state line to our lovely Grace Family. Love.

Train ride at the Milwaukee Zoo. Luke was worried Sadie would fall out. Which, since she is a monkey, was a valid concern.

She didn't, but she got close and he was nervous the whole way.

Who loves CORN on the COB? Sadie. A lot. I have finally learned to strip her down during meals.

Boat ride!

Me and my dad. This would explain my dorky side. And yes, those are in fact compression socks. Don't ask him about it unless you have brought a bottle of wine for yourself. The story takes that long.

One of Luke's favorite activities, riding with Grandpa to the quarry to pick out "big rocks" to throw in the lake. Heaven on Earth.

Luke and Grandpa Jimbo sharing smiles, as well as their love for penguins (actually that is a blue footed booby) and the Cubs.

One eyed Uncle Josh is up to his old antics...

We love our Uncle Matt. No wonder he and Uncle Josh are best buds!

Happy MONSTER TRUCK birthday, Luke!!!

One of our most special times in Wisconsin, a visit to Miss Sally's teal pond deck at the Audobon Center.

My lovely Lu.

It was all they could do to keep their paws off the monster truck cake, these two cousins Luke and Cole. It was up in the kitchen during the party and I think the trucks might have made a few laps before going back on the cake.

Rock star...

And his sister friend.

HEY!

Sades and Aunt Lis.

Sadie and her buddy Charles, bff.

Me, Em and les bebes who are two weeks apart.

Boat PARTY.

Kisses from cousin Nora.

Dancing in the sand at the Elm Grove park concert.

Playing in the sand with Daddy, Sophie, and Cole.

Chilling on the back of the boat Sadie with mom and Miss Paula.

Grandpa Jimbo and his ladies.

in the bobcat - the sun is so strong!

Lunch with Aunt Carol at the Lake Club, what a treat!

More to come....
