Into the city we ventured for Tourist Tuesday... we met Katie and Belle at the zoo, picked up Starbucks and wandered around beautiful Woodley Park. After Belle was reunited with her stuffed elephant (thank you friendly stranger who found him on the sidewalk and gently placed him atop the bridge ledge!), we stopped for lunch.
Then trekked uphill to the breathtaking National Cathedral. We wandered inside... felt like we were in Europe. The church is enormous with beautiful stained glass. 
A sunny day wouldn't be complete without a stop at the playground to swing away. What fun!
