Sounds like a book I would have read in Mrs. Bueller's English class, but actually a proper title for our day today.
Luke and Belle hit the zoo given that Mr. Sun blessed us with his presence along with about 60 degrees. It felt like a lovely 80. If anything, the 2009-10 winter season of cold and snow gave us an appreciation for warmth.
The kids' eyes bugged out as the orangutans climbed up this huge pole and then onto a rope about 100 feet across to their next lookout tower. They supposedly never fall. It was quite something.
The photo ironically is of them watching a big truck drive by. "Tu," as Luke says, usually followed by his "wow" face (oval shaped mouth, breathing in, followed by the wow). Belle's view much enhanced by her chic gingham green shades. Luke played body guard as toddlers from near and far flocked for her autograph. Fortunately, we had a decoy car fake out the paparazzi toward Bethesda so we were able to enjoy some privacy for once. That B is eeking out Suri in the superstar tot polls these days. Luke is just happy he got in when she was still just a regular baby.
