A visit from Grandpa Jimbo and Paula...

The cherry blossoms are officially in bloom and are they gorgeous. Luke decided to bring Grandpa Jimbo and Paula to see the blossoms during their visit to DC this past weekend.

The Washington Monument covered in cherry trees.

Walking through the beautiful FDR Memorial... tourists rarely find it... if you're visiting seek it out - it's well done.

Grandpa Jimbo and Paula hanging out with Luke at the FDR Memorial.

The next day we took a LONG walk to Old Town from our house... we think almost 8 miles (including a visit to Lisa, JD and Harry's)! Stopped on the way at a park for a swing ride.... thought just Luke would be riding, but Grandpa Jimbo decided to, too. To prove he's not such an old man.

Swinging with Daddy.

First time down the slide... with Daddy.

Tired baby!

And, that would be Grandpa Jimbo flying high in the swings.

After strolling through Old Town, we were all in need of a thirst quencher. Luke thought Paula's big schooner of Blue Moon at The Fish Market was his!

The group... enjoying the gorgeous weather and preparing for our walk back home.

Good times! Thanks Grandpa Jimbo and Paula for coming to visit!! Til next time....
