Sweet sister box

A few years ago, my sister Alissa and I started our sister box. We take turns filling up a shoe box with special treats, and then we send the box to each other about every other month or so. It is such a nice way to find fun things for one another and stay connected while living on opposite ends of the coast.

Our little goodie box came for me today from my sweet sister. Such marvelous treats! A cute little soft as can be strawberry t-shirt, wonderful smelling soap and a special lilac candle, luscious plumeria scented perfume, my favorite little lemon candies that we used to have growing up on Sundays, a much needed new cool, organic, recyclable etc sponge, a beautiful book mark and a piece of our mom's stationary.

Alissa is so creative and the best gift giver I know. Thank you, sweet sister, for the little gems. It was such a welcome surprise to receive your beautifully wrapped package at my doorstep on this gloomy day. You brightened it up, as you always do! Counting down the days until our visit... 12 to be exact! xo
