Nothing beats Saturday mornings - Daddy is home! We went to the Arlington Farmer's Market this morning... picked up some flowers from my fave flower lady, pork chops (amazing, had them tonight - Luke's a fan), zucchini, cucumber and... gasp... Virginia cheese curds (ew... way below WI quality).
Daddy got a haircut yesterday... Luke took approx 7 seconds to recognize him. Who is this strange man in my house? 5 months of growth to a shag down to a near buzz cut... you'd do a double take, too.
We were really looking forward to heading to Maryland with friends for crabs, but Dan's flight is leaving earlier than expected tomorrow for Texas so alas we weren't able to go... just had too much to get done at home before he left. Bummer! Next year, we are in for sure. So, we played in the pool. Luke now thinks standing in the pool is way more fun than splashing or partaking in anything pool-related.
