Check out Burke Lake, Virginia people... it is gorgeous. 4.5 mile trail around the lake... canoeing, nature camps, a train (for kids to ride on even) that goes through the park, children's art festival on the weekend. Lynn and I took the boys running through on the trail this morning and we felt like we were in Wisconsin, seriously. And it's not even that far away. Highly rec.

I grew up 5 min from there! Kind of forget about it living in arlington, but you're so right! There is an ice cream store too, right??
