A self-propelled spoon among the pumpkin patch

After a terrific four day vacation with my three favorite girls in Beaver Creek (girls, please send me photos!), Luke and I visited a pumpkin patch down the street with our friends on a gorgeous day. The sea of orange with our little people was pretty cute.

Pumpkins galore...

Cardin liked pushing Cate and Luke in the Radio Flyer

Luke wasn't too sure about the pumpkins.... he preferred crawling to the driveway to pick up pebbles.

Then he found out he could pick up pumpkins and move them from place to place... wagon to grass.

... wheelbarrow to wheelbarrow.

While we were having a picnic, I turned my back and Luke had picked up the applesauce container and the spoon... and started feeding himself. Hilarious. As Emily astutely pointed out, no surprise given this little dude has carried a spoon with him 24-7 for half his life!
