Brilliant! This is one of those ideas that you kick yourself for not thinking up... Chewbeads... a soft, non-toxic necklace that is colorful, chic and safe.
I stumbled upon this genius product at a charity event recently and picked up the turquoise necklace below, though I just love the pink beads, too. They are made with 100 percent silicone (like paci's), dishwasher safe, without BPA etc, even equipped with a breakaway clasp.
I guess the only question is whether baby translates all necklaces into chewbeads, but hey, how often are we really wearing our favorite necklaces with newborns - now at least we can wear something indestructible!
