Ok, so our first birthday party has come and gone, BUT Martha would tell us that doesn't mean we can't start thinking about the next one.
I love this site: www.thepartydress.net, tag line "Inspiration for the Well-Heeled Hostess." This hostess hasn't slipped on her favorite pair of Jimmy Choos and anthro apron in a while (and other clothes, please this is PG). But, she still loves tucking away fabulous ideas for the next soiree she may throw... so, she'll self-title the Well-Footed Hostess (thanks to Tory).
How adorable are these party themes/decor? So not cheesy. The Well-Heeled Hostess even provides links on the site so you can replicate exactly.
A baby shower for twins... seriously, how cute.

A ladybug birthday party theme. Hmm.... I'm thinking Belle Jefcoat. Surely, since she'll have been a sweet 'lil ladybug for Halloween. Belle, maybe Stella McDermott will let you borrow the gigantic ladybug mushroom her dad almost got arrested over on her first birthday.
What a great party idea... who doesn't love a good solid game of croquet (so long as gin & tonics are on the menu). Under a sky of colorful paper lanterns. Ahhh, summer, please stay.
I just love how the red checked ribbon is tied onto the drink labels. A perfect picnic party.
P.S. A few posts ago I raved about Jenna Lyons and J.Crew. I still think Jenna is super cool, but am wholly disappointed with J.Crew's fall in-store selection. Maybe I'm jaded because I'm not ready to say goodbye to summer, but there was far too much grey and wool.
I'm so glad you introduced me to this website! :) I have found some great ideas for bridal and baby showers!
ReplyDeleteAhh....Belle may just have a lady bug birthday, it seems everything is lady bug for her these days... (backpack, lunch box, Halloween costume)Thanks for thinking of us during your web surfing:) This website is great. The 2nd birthday will be here before you know it. In the mean time, lets try to hold on to summer just a little bit longer!
