A big shout out to one of my favorite college friends - Holly - for a beautiful wedding she threw a few weeks back in Milwaukee. Holly has always had a great sense of style, and her wedding reflected her superb taste. She and Sam were married at a gorgeous church in Shorewood, with a reception at a hip Milwaukee joint, Moct. In her response card, Holly asked guests to write in a song they'd like to hear, and at the reception a super awesome DJ played all the songs. You can imagine how excited I was to hear Pour Some Sugar on Me several pinot noirs into the evening!
What a treat to reconnect with old college friends (and yes, we are all officially old now, but young at heart). Here we are below pre-reception, post-cocktails (minus Dan, who was noshing his heart out in Chicago at the Restaurant Association's big trade show).
